Tentative Itinerary

Our final itinerary will be subject to the total number of guests that book and will be released soon.

  • Our first day is an arrival day into Casablanca. Most flights from North America arrive in the morning, however you will be transferred to the group hotel at whichever time your flight arrives.

  • In the morning we’ll pay a visit to Casablanca’s most well-known attraction, the Hassan II mosque for a tour of this impressive building. Afterwards we’ll have lunch before making our way to Tangier for the night.

  • Join a local guide for a tour of Tangier after breakfast. We’ll then take a short ride to the nearby small-town of Asilah known for it’s whitewashed walls and colorful street art.

  • In the morning we’ll take part in a local cooking class where lunch will be prepared. You’ll have time to yourself in the afternoon to wander Tangier or head to the beach to soak up the sun or take a swim in the Mediterranean.

  • After breakfast we’ll drive south through the Rif mountains to the Chefchanouan. On arrival our guide will provide us with a walk through the town to get acquainted.

  • Today you’ll get to decide if you’d like to take a hike to the Akchour waterfall just outside the city or stay in town and explore on your own. Either option is a win!

  • We will depart early this morning for the imperial city of Fez. We’ll enjoy a local lunch on arrival followed by an afternoon artisan workshop activity.

  • Get to know Fez with our local guide who will give us a walking tour of this unique city. Today will be a full day of exploring!

  • We’ll be a bit flexible today and have planned for hammams for the group. Today’s schedule may vary depending on how many people sign up for the special Moroccan spa treatment.

  • After breakfast we’ll drive back to Casablanca to say farewell. Tonight will be a special farewell dinner.

  • Bid farewell to Morocco!

If you would like to extend your time, we can discuss this with our partners to add-on a trip portion for you.

Why Northern Morocco?

This itinerary focuses on the north of the country taking you to some of the lesser visited locations that we love. While especially the city of Marrakech and the Sahara desert are often top picks, we believe that this itinerary will offer you a different and more relaxed experience in Morocco. The weather this time of year is great on the Atlantic and Mediterranean and you’ll have time to enjoy walks on the beach - or even a swim. Our trip also visits the infamous blue city of Chefchaouan - a photographers’ dream. Finally we’ll head to Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco and a UNESCO heritage site. The car-free medina is a beehive of artisans producing work today the same as their grandfathers’ did in years past.

Arrival and Departure Airport for this trip is Casablanca (CMN).
